Posts: 73 | | I may be meeting someone at a bar soon for a date. I wont go into details but heres my question. I know its not good to buy a girl a drink, but since im meeting someone for the frist time, do I get exemption for trying to make a good impression? I mean i cant buy myself a drink and tell her to get her own. if someone can give me some tips on protocol id appreciate it.

The drink protocol is only applicable for nights out

Personally, I think your reading too much into the PUA stuff. In my experience, is bad to buy girls drink if you don't know them. But if you guys are going out on date, is alright. You know her. Your building comfort with her know.
