The small cube shows that she's not a central figure in her life, possibly a little insecure at times - if you wanted to put a positive slant on it, you could say that she often puts other people ahead of herself.
The cube floating over the pond shows that she's creative but possibly in a tenuous position - is the cube in danger of falling into the pond?

The ladder is large indicating that she has a lot of friends/important people in her life and it's on top of the cube which seems to support the idea that she puts others ahead of herself. She's supporting her friends and preventing them from falling into the pond. It could be that she's struggling to do this because the large ladder has quite an insecure footing (the small cube)

A dead horse floating in the pond could indicate that she feels like she's lost her ideal man. This would make me think that perhaps the cube's presence over the pond is one of grieving, she's having difficulty moving on from the loss. It would also suggest that she's afraid of losing her friends in the same way because the ladder is only being kept out of the pond by the cube - perhaps, if her ideal man left her for some reason, she's afraid that her friends will side with him and leave for the same reason.

I'd link the dead flowers to the dead horse, the horse has left and with it her prospects for children. Or her ideal man has left with her children.

The storm is everywhere so she's probably going through some troubles right now, again I'd be inclined to link it with the dead horse. She's having a hard time right now.

This isn't a happy reading and I'd be careful of getting involved with this girl, it sounds like she's in a bad place right now and you don't want to make it worse. Unless you're sure about her, don't pursue anything with this girl.

Hi guys.
I'm a little confused..

My understanding was that 'the cube' routine was basically bul**hit and doesn't mean anything. It's just a way to get the HB to think you can read her. Have I totally missed the point here ?

I'm not sure on the origins of the cube (i.e. who came up with it) and it never came up when I was studying Psychology but it's clearly based on Psychoanalysis, basically the subconscious mind is influencing what she imagines and we can interpret that. Bear in mind that there are many possible interpretations and thus it's entirely possible that we'll get it wrong, for example, in the above reading, it wasn't clear whether the cube above the pond was in danger of falling, trying to prevent others from falling, grieving the fallen, any combination of those things or perhaps something I hadn't thought of at all but it seemed clear that the pond was not a pleasant one because of the dead horse in it. To clear up details like that and improve the accuracy of your reading you can ask further questions.
You can also throw cold-reading style techniques in there with the cube routine by observing the body language of the person as you speak and adapting what you say accordingly, e.g. if they're nodding you're on the right track, so go deeper; if they shake their head, you're going wrong so you can say "but..." and change what you're saying.

If you still doubt the validity of the cube routine, take a look at this thread. I've never met the woman that the TS was posting about and yet, apparently, I was able to give a fairly accurate reading of her. I wouldn't say that this reading was very typical and so it wouldn't apply to everyone... It's certainly the bleakest cube I've ever interpreted!
