No there's nothing you coulda done after because you fucked it up when you walked away after finding out she had a BF. You were just another chode hitting on her till you found out she was taken and then you bolted.
That one's gone, but in the future let the mention of BFs just roll off you like water off a ducks back. If you stay in set and not let it bother and keep up the flirting and the kino etc it may get you somewhere (including the hospital if her BF shows up but that's the risk you take in gaming chicks with BFs)
Chicks with BFs are always in one of three states -
1. is they are satisfied with their BF and not wanting anything else in which case if you keep gaming her she will eventually tell you to fuck off or she will walk away.
2. is she looking to upgrade BFs and is actually on the market unbeknownst to her BF so if she thinks you are better than him (and each individual woman has her own idea of what "better" means) you stand a chance as long as you don't fuck it up.
3. is fundamentally happy with her BF but open to the idea of getting some on the side on the down-low.
In all three of these states you are in the game if you keep gaming. She will either let you keep going or she will break the rapport depending on what she is wanting at the time. If you tuck your tail between your legs and walk away at the first mention of a BF then you are done.
