I have a friend who I really like but she's not such a close friend that I'm stuck in the "friend zone" (we only see each other quite rarely, always in a group situation) Lately I've been getting a lot closer to her and we've been sending quite long messages over Facebook (but stopped now as I don't want to be too available, want to maintain some mystery - still replying to her statuses once in a while)

I've been dropping hints that I like her (had to drop quite a few cause she seems to miss them a lot) as more and she's dropped a fairly big one to me now as well. On the weekend I'll be seeing her at a bar with a group of us again. I think that's my chance to start taking things to the next level. The thing is ideally I want the woman to chase me so I remain the prize but this girl is SO passive (and quite insecure, I think she'd actually think I'm out of her league, doesn't know how hot she is) that I'll have to make all the moves... can't imagine her ever doing it, not because she doesn't like me, she'd just be too shy and afraid of rejection.

How do you think I should play this when I see her with our group? I want her to crave me, desire me and know that I'm the prize, that I'll be selecting her (and not vice versa) but I also know I'll need to make the first moves and this weekend may be my main chance.

I feel like I'm in a good position now. I'm 90% sure she likes me and is waiting for me to take action so I don't want to blow it when I see her face to face by coming on too strong and giving her all the power but I need to do something... don't want to drag it out too long, she might get snapped up! Tink it's all about the wording. I'm so confused.
