Me and my friend talked a bit.

"go over there and talk to them" he said.
"omg, how? I have no qlues SPAM" i replied.
"just go over there, and do the who-lies-most-boys-or-girls" he said.
"omg can't do that, thats silly, thats of the book.." i said
"just do it".

So i did. The good thing is that I managed to talk to the grp for a little while, but it went down and hard. It just sounded silly.

Now...

I haven't read the entire "the game", but I have seen these examples.

My problem is this. Where I hang out I meet ppl, I have met them before, and I meet them next week.
I don't want to create openers that is invented and is just fake like the ones in the book. Because I will most likely get busted.

My standard opener i use, and have done so for a while is like this:
"hi ppl - how are you doing here- you have some fun? Was any of you at the concert at the club over there? It was real fun..."

something like that. And try spawn an conversation from there, after what reply I get. It isn't great, and it doesn't work that good or that often.

I would like to create openers that is more ... i don't know ... but tell something that is true, something I saw/did, and something that stands up if any want to check, and something that is new most of the time so I don't get that "you have said that before i know, are you weird or something??"

I don't hang out at new places every weekends, so thats the problem kinda. Compared to LA that "the game" describes where they go to new places, and you never meet ppl twice. That is really not my world.

Any ideas?

PS: I usually don't hang out at high-class places. Rock/Metal clubs is usually at the lower end ... but even there, there is an status-list kinda if you know. And Im happy with that for now. Start small and easy I say..
