Is it really weird to go to the mall just to practice pick up?

So I've been reading up for about a few months now. I just started going out to the mall a week ago. I'm extremely shy, so I'm actually making myself go out to the mall everyday. I like daygame, and since college is over for summer, the only other place girls hang out around here is the mall.

Anyways, I just thought of how weird it sounds for a guy to go to the mall JUST to interact with girls.

Think about it like this, does it sound weird for a guy to go to the mall to talk to girls? or is it weirder for a guy to go to the mall to shop? theres the two reasons to go to the mall, if one doesnt work for you see if the other ones better. (in other words no its not weird, its normal)

Well would you rather stay at home, be bored, not socialize, sit in front of the computer on PUA forums, and if you're feeling really adventurous, comment on a HB10's latest Facebook status? Or would you rather go gaming at the mall and enjoy possibly the best night of your life? The choice is yours.

What are you opening with? If you're asking stupid direction or something, then you're feeling weird because you're making up lame excuses to talk to girls, feeling incongruent, and that's making you question yourself.

If you open honestly with a compliment about what is attractive about the girl, and go from there, then you'll feel great for being upfront and honest, and most girls will react very favourably.

most people don't give a shit you being there hitting on woman .. really ... most people won't even look at you. when i started doing this stuff i was into daygame alot because clubs scared the hell out of me. you should ask yourself this ... why do people go to clubs to get drunk and getting hooked up with wrong woman ? people are always finding excuses to not approach woman and 99 % think they need to be in a club to do it.

i talked to woman in a few shops and the shop owners were ok with it , they knew what i was doing. i never had someone coming up to me telling me to stop approaching woman....in clubs i had all kinds of idiots and bouncers telling me stop picking up woman. the only reason i don't game during daytime is that i don't like it when there aren't many woman around, however during daytime you meet better people + girlfriend material in general and you have instant isolation in most cases.

believe me most woman actually are into you when you open....the ones that really don't care ignore you.

i agree with ryan .. asking directions can help you get over AA but they aren't good conversation starters... everyone opens with that crap.

I went up to an HB10 with white skinny pants, straight dark hair, walking like a queen, opened with, "Hey you're cute so I just wanted to say hi." That shit worked wonders. The chick was in her 20s, I'm only 18.

It's not wierd, it's normal, that's my basic for daygame, cause of 2 reasons:

1) It's during the day
2) This is the only daytime place that is a little more packed with women than others

I would accualy said to you, that if you're beginner you should start in a mall
