I spoke with this girl from college I used to sleep with over the weekend. We talked about me going to visit her in a different state. I got an email from her today saying something to the effect of "I have no problem showing you around town, but please be aware you are visiting as a friend and sleeping in the guest bedroom."

My first reaction was to just ignore her and make other summer plans, but is she just saying that cause she's a girl? If I do visit her, I don't want to end up striking out and regretting being there the rest of the weekend. My original plan was to show up with a nice bottle of wine my first night, and let things take their course once we finished the bottle. Should I play along with her and be like, of course I'm just visiting as a friend.
