It is just resistance or testing:

If you get mad or show you are affected by her flaking out on you, you will lose the game and the girl.

If you are unaffected, and keep gaming like nothing happened, you show persistance, and the game is still on.

if you are persistant, and she keeps on flaking out on you. Then she is not worth your time and skills.
