could you respond a shit test with logic, yet, with sarcasm?
for example:
i work at an indian restaurant...so she says:
-HB: "but you dont look indian"
-ME: unfortunately i'm not, (disappointed face) i know it would go more with the restaurant if i was huh.

depends on the girl, if she is indian something like:
"i know don't hold it against me, but the culture/food fascinate me"

but just about anything said in a joking matter and a smile you can get away with quite well.

naw shes not indian though. but...let say she was, wouldn't the response you gave me be qualifying myself to her??

eh i guess? i'm not much one to use all the jargon but at the same time if it is an indian girl there are only two types. Those that grew up deep into their culture and tend to be VERY into their "clique" or the americanized version which is more open/outgoing which you have a greater chance with.

if you are worried about "qualifying" yourself remember that some rules can be bent or broken. You don't always have to follow the rules or follow them in a certain order, if i feel there might be some playful banter that may lead to something greater i would not mind "showing weakness" in her eyes by "qualifying myself".

Recognize first when there is an opportunity and second when to take risks.

I personally always turn shit tests into a joke, that is, if they are even worth acknowledging. "But you don't look indian", doesn't even qualify as a shit test to me, because where is the insult? She's just poking fun at you because she likes you. If you needed to reply to it, I would go along the lines of "Yea, I'm starting to think I WASN'T adopted!" (I have white parents, and no, i'm not adopted).

i think that responding to a shit test with logic is an epic fail. it's an insult to your intelligence to even respond in the first place. think about it. the girls knows she is being ridiculous and illogical. you know she is being ridiculous and logical. what is the point of putting it into an actual response. it's a surefire way to slice your balls off and hand them to her on a platter.

i say the best way to respond to a shit test is either:

- respond by squashing it
- not respond at all

but make no mistake, women love the advantage that being illogical, yet forcing us to be logical, bestows upon them.

i say call them out on it every time. maintain your frame.
