First- My last ex G/F when we were watching a movie on bed she would fall asleep in the first 10 minutes i always thought that was weird because she was the one who want to see the movie. I ask her once and she told me that she felt safe in my arms so she would fall asleep. But when we broke up she told me a diferent story that I was boring or something(that makes no sense since I was the one who always wanted to go party while she wanted to stay at home). It really didnt bother but NOW i see it happens to alot of my friends saying there girls sleep when in bed watching a movie. Anybody now the reason? or the real reason is the one she told me.

Second - Alot of my friends cant be in the same place where there ex- boyfriends are it doenst happen to all boyfriends but the ones who left them or trade them for other girls , they prefer to leave then to stay on that place. Its really weird because it pass 5 or 6 years and the girls still are bothered with there presnce and im talking about girls who are on happy LTR. What they still are in love with there ex??

To the first point, I heard something similar to that on a product, think it was lovedrop if I remember correctly. It's kinda like people do mental calculations about how they feel about someone. At the time when she would fall asleep, she did feel safe in your arms. Now that you are not together, and she knows she can't do it anymore, she acts like she didn't feel safe ever. It's the mind protecting its self.

I'd agree. Coping mechanism.

I think to your first point, completely disregard anything that a woman may say and only listen to what she does. If she says she wants to watch a movie with you and then falls asleep immediately, that to me says she just wants to be close to her boyfriend. If later she says she fell asleep because he was boring, well I don't believe that at all.

To your second question, I'd say it's also a coping mechanism. If she feels as if she has been wronged, just being in the same room as the guy can create pressure for her and she may not know how to act, making her nervous, so she just ejects herself from the situation. Women are very emotional creatures. This is also how I used to react when I used to be a total pussy
