-to the mods, please feel free to take this thread out if it is not appropriate for this part of the forum-

Hi everyone, let me say this now, just over a month ago, I am a total AFC, without any knowledge about pick-up. Due to a string of failures with girls, I decided to take up and learn Pick-up arts to have this part of my life handled. I'm only turning 20 this year, and I don't want to waste the rest of my youth ailing with one-itis and not being able to get the girls I like. Now, onto my first attempt at using Pick-up:

There's this girl I like right now. Let's call her Anne. She was first introduced to me July last year, through mutual friends. I know a friend that knows her friend. After being introduced, a day or two later(can't really remember), Anne and her friend added me up on facebook. She was always the one initiating the chatting back then(which I didn't know was an IoI). To make things short, I chatted back, we had long conversations through chat and would sometimes hangout with our other friends.

I didn't escalate and didn't ask her out, combine this with going back to school(she is still in the last year of high school and I just started university) and my one-itis for this other girl, things fizzled out to stagnation. I heard she even had a bf but they quickly broke up. Last January, I asked Anne about what happened between us back in July and if I had taken my chance with her would she take her chances with me too. She said "Yes, probably" with a lot of LOLs. With this, trying to get her got back to my mind and I decided I would give it a go after the 2nd semester for university ends.

Before asking that question, we completely ignored each other on facebook. But after asking it, we started commenting on each others' posts again. Not always, but yeah it's there. School ended during the first week of April, and I read my first material, DeAngelo's DYD. I started gaming her exactly a month ago, using the information from DYD.

My first chance came during a birthday celebration of the friend who introduced me to her. To make it short, I was able to pick her up after school and go to the celebration together(a movie). I teased her a lot with the movie as she didn't like the genre of what we watched(horror), but it seems that she still had fun. After the movie, she had to go and I decided to take her to her next destination(without her asking). Now, before she left my car, I asked her if she was seeing someone, and she said no(I asked this because I thought she was seeing someone from her status updates in fb)

After that day, I sometimes commented in her statuses/photos and tried my negging skills. I thought I was doing great, my comments would always end up getting liked by her. I decided to let a week pass after the movie to ask her out, so I wouldn't come off as too eager. Then during last full week of April, I asked her if she would like to hang out with me, and she said yes. I thought it was all good because she agreed, but then two days later, during the day we were supposed to go out, she flaked on me. I asked her later that day in facebook chat about what happened:

iamclosed: hey, what happened?
Anne: oh hey what?
iamclosed: is your phone busted?
Anne: lol no why?
iamclosed: then you didn't receive my texts?
Anne: oh dang i'm already homeee o_O shiyatz
iamclosed: o_O
Anne: didn't even get to ask my rents o_O (please keep in mind she's still in high school, and we're asians.)
iamclosed: wow you're such a kj. if you didn't want to then you could've just said no straight up :\
Anne: LOLLL but you didn't even message me yesterday
iamclosed: but I thought it was all good since we already talked about it 2 days ago
Anne: loooooool hahah i see iseeeeee srry
iamclosed: sorry my ass. it's not cool Anne
Anne: eeeh
iamclosed: but honestly, tell me. did you want to go or not? if you don't answer, i'll take your silence as yes. haha jk. but yeah, next time if you don't want to go just say no, it's fine with me. But then you'll be missing fun times. hahahahaha :p
Anne: oh wait sorry i was watching something, can't hear facebook. I wanted to go yo!!! this day is just bad for me
iamclosed: haha it's ok. but you have to pay your debt. i'll just tell you when i fell like it. good luck on the rest of your day lol
Anne: kayyyyy

Again, I let a week pass before asking her out again. During the downtime, we communicated sparsely through facebook. Then came the first week of may, and I tried asking her out again:

iamclosed: hey you, debt-ridden girl. it looks like i'll be free on the 5th. let's hang out that day, k?
Anne: OOOOOH SHITTT can'tttt wait that's.. thursday right?
iamclosed: whuut i thought you said you'll be free the whole week except wednesday? yep that's thursday.
Anne: i knoww but we moved it to thursday -____-
iamclosed: :| you're messing up my schedules y'know. tsk why are you making it so hard for me to say i like you(yeah, once again. lol.) in person :|
Anne: aw mannn LOL I know, i make it hard for everyone :p
iamclosed: i know playing hard to get is fun for you guys, but you're doing it just right! if you're doing it, then you gotta do it poorly or overly done! :))
Anne: oh i'm not being hard to get o_O it's called "bad timingggg"
iamclosed: tsss. since it's all messed up anyways, then let's go on friday. i just wanna see if i really do like you again. haha.
Anne: friday sounds gooddd :)
iamclosed: and if nothing else, then there's nothing wrong with two friends bonding, right? :p
Anne: actually tomorrow's good too
iamclosed: mehh tomorrow, i have work.
Anne: oh sucks
iamclosed: so then, friday k? i just watched a movie and i'm itching to play my guitar because of the soundtrack lol
Anne: looooooooooooooooooool go play? LOL
iamclosed: that's what i said lol
Anne: lolololol oh hey i wanna go to sleeeeeeppp -___________-
iamclosed: uh, then go to sleep? LOL
Anne: kayy

The day came and I texted her in the morning to remind her. She replied, but she said that she had to cut our day short since she's going to meet a seemingly good friend of hers she hasn't seen for a long time. I reacted a little bit, saying she shouldn't be changing schedules by herself, but I made it clear it was fine with me and told her to go see her friend(it came to a point when she decided to cancel her meeting with her friend, but i told her she's doing it again lol). I picked her up from her school later that day, hopped to different places starting with a coffee shop and ending at her meeting place with her friend. Later that day, she chatted me in fb saying it was fun. But I replied with pulls. I can't really remember how that conversation continued though.

And right now, a week after we went out, things went down again. We barely talked online, primarily due to the fact that I got busy because of my part time job(evening shifts) and her having school, so our daily schedules are not in a particularly good sync. Sometimes I would chat her but I get one sentence replies. I'm starting to feel like things are slipping away once again. I'm out of options, and is confused.

I am terribly sorry for the long post.
