I have been trying to get with a girl for awhile now who has a BF and this weekend we talked about it and I have a lot better idea where I stand.

she tells me that she likes me and she was upset that I never called her much before and she wants to see me more. She lives 1hr away and she is coming to stay with me this weekend "(her BF is overseas mind you)

anyway my question is how should I take it from here? I want her to know that I like her but I really really don't want to look like an AFC who has nothing better to do than call her all the time. One x-factor is that all of her friends tell her that i'm a player and I was only saying sweet things to her to try to get some....so I want to show her that i'm very interested in her w/o looking too AFC

DHV, C & F, push pull. You don't want to come on strong. Tease her, neg her, push her away in subtle ways and she will come back to you stronger. Especially if she is looking to confirm that you "want some". You have to show her you don't. But be playful with her.
