Okay so me and this girl don't have a huge history.. swapping a few texts back and forth many months ago. I took her out once but I went outta town for a month so it kinda died. Over the last couple months a text here and there. I have never been the most confident guy or really pushed hard for anything. I really want to change my ways and this could be good practice.


Would a random call out of the blue work best or a good opening text then when she responds call? Whens the best to call/text? Whats the best to say if I want to set up a meeting coffee? dinner?

You've already had an initial date. The attraction is probably still there assuming everything else is still in place.

Call her up not on a weekend. Call her on a Wednesday and set up a date for Monday. I don't like to leave voicemails, but that is your call. Only tell her to call you back. Don't ask for the date in the voicemail. If you get the date drop all communication before the date unless she initiates it. If she calls you make it brief and you get going. Get off the phone first. If she leaves you voicemails or texts before the date come back to this post and tell us what she says.

Don't get fancy with the dinner. Take her to a place that has a hip factor, not Applebees. Sometimes I'll only ask the girl for drinks. Get the alcohol flowing if you're of age, turn the game on, then back to your house for her to drop the panties.
