I don't mean just in bars and clubs, but even in the daytime. I've approached many women with some success, still I'm the one doing the approaching. What is it about you that causes women to approach you? What kind of mindset do you have? Thanks.

Being insecure doesn't help. So don't do that..

What helps me is doing something strange, or wearing something out of the ordinary.
Last night I was out with some friends to some festival. And we bought a "hello Kitty-Balloon" for one of my buddy's. We got approached alot!

I held a hug-contest between me and some random girl I just met! Kiss- and numberclosed!

I hope my successtory helped. I'm not very experienced, so yeah.. Also I'm Dutch, so my English could be bad..

Women wont approach you unless youre super good looking, like top 5%. I wouldnt worry about trying to get approached.

In the daytime I usually only get approached if I'm visibly not doing anything e.g. waiting for a bus or something and it's usually because I have long hair. Occasionally it'll happen whilst I'm shopping or something but it's rare. I think it's mainly a case of standing out from the crowd a bit; have something "interesting" going on with your look and people will have an excuse to come and speak to you.
In bars and clubs I get approached all the time, again the hair is useful but it's mainly just going around and having a great time that will cause people to approach.

Yeah doesn't usually happen. I once had a map in my hand and was approached by a friendly student that asked if I needed help finding something, that's about it.

Otherwise you have to have be wearing something or be doing something that stands out. For example, I've had people sitting next to me on the tube (london underground/subway) start talking to me because I was speed-solving a rubik's cube.

I most definatelly dont belong to top 5% of guys with these BodyFat values (~20-25%) but I still am approached every now and then exspecially later into night If I sit down and relax for a while. Note worthy thing is I sarge alone so I think it is easier to approach me. I think look wise one could rate me at 8 maxium.
