Hey Guys

Im thinking of taking up a hobby and thought it would be cool to choose one that can up my game and maybe DHV!

Any ideas?? Or what are your hobbies?

Surfing
Martial arts

Also was thinking of getting a Motorbike as i dont have a SPAM so would be as much effort to get a Bike (plus ive always wanted on)

I'd say surfing is the best out of these three. Gets you both muscle and a tan and you can go into stories about it. You can even start talking about how it metaphors life and what climbing the waves taught you. Cliché, but still not bad stuff.

The great paradox of DHVing is if you are doing something because you think chicks will dig it and you are doing just because you are trying to DHV it will end up being a huge DLV.

The key is to find something that you truly have a passion for and then do it with passion and become an expert at it. The thing that chicks do dig is passion and competance.

Any of things you mentioned is fine but do it because you truly want to and do it for your own enjoyment and fullfillment. If you do it for yourself the DHV will come. If you do it just to try to impress chicks you will be a baffoon.

The best way is do the things you love, because let's face it, every girl opinion is different, you can't meet up to their expectation all the time.
So do the things you love, but find the DHV value in it and display it.
For ex: Duck calling is lame? Now create an adventure out of that, encounter hot ass girl who was feeding the ducks, display your value how you want to be one with nature, etc... use your creativity.

While what you guys are saying is true, sometimes people just need a list of some ideas and will then choose the one that they're most passionate about.

I don't think anyone will start a hobby purely because it DHVs. I actually came here looking for a hobby list to get some ideas from, searching hasn't really turned much up though.

Google "List of hobbies" and it turns up a big list.

Has a lot of boring stuff on there, but you should be able to take some ideas from it.

Dude try MMA, i been doing it for six years, Its been a good confidence booster for me. I also had alot of women say stuff like "Teach me" they seem pretty interested in it. But I guess it depends on the girl, but it also keeps you in shape so its a win win.

I do rock climbing, cycling, and parkour as my three main sports. All three are movement oriented and require feedback from your environment. This helps to communicate who I am. So if your picking things you want to do, go try everything, then stick with the stuff you like the most.

You shouldn't be wanting to take up any new hobbies simply for the fact to impress someone else. If you wanna expand your activities and try new things that's awesome . Only if your doing it because you want to. I went to college just to meet girls and yes I got laid and got into LR's but I completely failed out. Don't do anything because you want to seem high value. That just makes you look try hard(poser etc,). Do things only if you have a genuine interest in them.
