After trying things out myself a lot and observing other players, I have come to one conclusion:

Personality will not make u a player or ladies man. Only looks and being hot will. I am friends with a lot of girls and some players. When I ask a girl why she slept with some guy, its ALWAYS she thought he was cute or hot. Similarly every player I know is hot and gets girls due to that. I am myself an average guy. But I think I have a great personality. I am very popular and have a funny/cocky personality. But whenever I got a girl, the reason was simple: she thought I was good looking. The ones who did not find me attractive gave me no chance.

So am I saying that personality based attraction does not exist? Absolutely not. But such attraction takes lot of time to develop. The girl gets to know u and slowly becomes interested. whenever we see an ugly guy with a hot girl, we assume he is a natural. But truth is, he is just an ordinary guy who managed to get a hot girl friend. I know such couples myself. They were friends and slowly became close.

So what does this all mean? If u improve ur personality, u can get a girlfriend..maybe hook up with 1-2 girls in an year if u get lucky..But dont expect to hook up with 15-20 girls in an year like a player. Girls are not going to drool over u because u have a great personality. Sorry but that can happen only to hot guys. Instant attraction and numbers game is based on looks. Personalty based attraction is slow and gives very few numbers. Life is not fair and thats just the way it is.

but actually looks improve you self confidence. So if you're getingt the best out of yourself you can be confident and that's what makes you look good.

I am definitely not a bad looking guy, only some pounds too many an my hips.
But I am working on myself. I lost 55 lb and started working out and my confidence increases every day and I get more comfortable around women.

I was a very good looking kid through out high school. Yet I didn't pull as many girls as my peers, who weren't that good looking.

In fact, I actually knew an Abercrombie & Fitch model who didn't really pull any women at all. And he looked like a dude you'd find in a magazine. 6 foot, blonde hair, blue eyes, 6 pack, but had no game. So all he ever got was ugo's, and clinged to them as if they were "the one." True story.

Wrong. When you're female friends say, "I slept with him because he's hot", I bet you 90% of him being hot has to due with his personality.

i have to agree that its wrong, out of my close personal friends i'm not the best looking guy but I am 2nd in who has gotten with more girls (first going to my alpha friend who taught me everything). I even see girls gravitate towards the other members in my group but they have no game even when girls blatantly hit on them. I on the other hand have no problem opening sets and keeping conversation lively and interesting. I close before the conversation hits its zenith and take down numbers and close if it's possible.

As i have said before if you are a good looking guy it just means most women will not put up their bitch shield right away. But once you bore them looks won't really save you.

I do believe a ugly looking guy will need better game then a hotter looking guy.

You need to evaluate yourself and fix the whole in your personality. Its not all lines and routines, there is a lot more then that. Your style, your body lauguage, vocal tonality, etc...

By the way, when you ask a girl why she slept with a guy and she says because he is "cute" or "hot" What that means is that they were properly seduced. When you properly seduce a girl, they can't explain it why they slept with you so they just say he was cute or hot.

If that was true there would be no ugly guys left in the world as nature would have weeded their genes out of existance and we would all be Adonis lookalikes.

The thing which got me into PUA was seeing ugly guys with beautiful girlfriends and wondering " WTF is going on here." It wasn't looks which got such women so maybe it was something else...something I could copy and learn.

When we guys look at woman and rate them 'hot or not', we go for the physical looks.

When women rate guys hot or not, they take looks, personality, humor, how we dress, how we talk etc into the mix.


So, the conclusion is: Looks dont make you a player, its how you use your looks that does.

One of the comments reminded me of a story, where I used to work there was this one girl she was 6-7 very low key. Cute had a runners body so nice and toned, had guys constantly try to get with her. I ran game f closed etc and one day i asked her "what do you like about me?" her response "i dont know.. you are mysterious, wild and very aggressive in bed". MIND you she had "better" looking guys try to hit on her they just had ZERO game. Yet I got to f close with her.. yup that should tell you something about the difference between looks/game.
