Hi, this may seem like a ridiculous topic but its starting to make me quite paranoid to say the least.
I went out last feeling confident and was generally having fun and chatting to girls all night. When I was in the nightclub towards the end of the night I started flirting with a girl I know very vaguely and she responded well. Eventually we kissed and afterwards she literally walked back off to her friend without making eye contact and didnt do so for the rest of the night. Not the best response by any means!
This does not happen all the time but has happened enough times to make me quite paranoid. Basic things like bad breath etc are definitley not the reason and could it therefore be down to terrible technique or is it just a mental thing? Thanks

Completely relax your lips. Don't even worry about puckering. Go slow!!! Don't be nervous because of that sexual tension you have right before kissing. Build it, keep going in slowly... build it... then SLOWLY brush your lips against hers... n slide in for the lip lock.

When you rush things, you could catch her lips in a bad position - Possibly where you are eating her lips. When you take it very slow... you can even open your mouth pretty wide on the first kiss, she will feel this and adjust. (Because lots of girls give you a pucker type of kiss on the first, no lip lock)

You can even go for the french if you wanted too. Key is to take it very slow, allowing her to feel what's going on and adjust.
