So theres this chick I've been talking to.Ive been giving her bass lessons. I'm at rock star level and she's a genius so we made nice progress. there's been a lot of IOIs between us. I definitely like her (and she likes me most def), but I'm pretty sure I waited too long to ask her out. bottom line: suddenly she gets a bf xo *slap in the face*

Yeah so, I kinda hoped she would make the first move, but now I'm thinking I should've! Anyway soon as I found out I decided it'd be best to stop lessons for a couple seasons (a well deserved break). We ended on a good note , but I am definitely not gonna be seeing her again soon...cus you know... xo *slap in the face* Her loss!

I'm tempted to believe that she is effectively trying to make me jealous. I say "effectively" because it has been effective; however just cus I'm jealous doesn't mean it was her intent.

A couple of questions please.

1.How can I test to see whether she is trying to make me jealous?

2. If I were to make any sort of move toward the goal of....ummm lets say a kiss?? what should be my move? in pua terms, how to land a kiss close while she has a bf?

I doubt she is trying to make you jealous. You were supposed to make the first move, but since you didn't she probably thinks it's her fault.

If she has a boyfriend, I would not interfere.

When you asked her out, did she say she had a boyfriends straight away? Or did she laugh, giggle, enjoy the conversation THEN tell you she has a boyfriend?


Following the PUA "Sasha's" teachings, if you started talking to her and she threw up the BF block straight away. Guess what buddy, she doesn't have a B.F.

However if you are talking to her, things are going great, THEN she says she has a B.F. Odds are she truly does.

What happened in your case?

new2game: Id say the second one is more like my situation. I got put in the friend zone most likely.

IOIs aren't enough if you've spent hours hanging out.

If she's attractive she will have plenty of guys willing to escalate things and an IOI does not a LTR make.

Now you have a new relationship which is probably exciting her but at the same time easier overthrown. Cutting her off won't help right now because she won't even think about you.
