Those articles suggest wearing a red shirt or something red gives men a advantage.

Anyone with any experience that can say Red really made a difference?

Iv read this somewhere before an i aint 100% if its true but i did have a hb say to me in general converstation that i suite red an i should get somethin red this was about a year ago an iv finally bought a red jumper about 2 week ago but i aint had chance to wear it yet with this weather.

so im guessin if red suites me an a hb 9 says that to me then there might be some truth that red is a decent colour its rare aswell to see people in red so kind of makes you stand out

Surely it depends on your complexion, skin tone and hair? Guys with dark hair tend to look good in most colours anyway. I have dark brown hair and brown eyes and I tend to wear a lot of red, white and black.

I noticed a couple of years ago that red does seem to help.

I figured it was more likely coincidence.

I can imagine there being some truth behind it. If someone would ask you what you associate with the colour red many would end up in the 'romance'-section, and that link can always be made by your subconscious.

However, can't imagine the result being too big, and its slight advantages fucked up as soon as you 'prove' the opposite. If the colour red suits you go for it, but wouldn't force yourself to wear all kinds of red stuff. (Side note, I still know shit about fashion.)
