Not mentioning him at all would be best. You were too busy meeting girls and making new friends to bother with her and her new dork, remember? If she brings him up, say something like,
"Oh, yeah, he seemed cool," and then change the subject back to something YOU care about.
Demonstrating a strong opinion in regards to this dude will give off the impression that you've been thinking about him, and that you see him as a threat. Whether you describe him as "annoying" or "charming" is irrelevant. Indifference is the way to go.
