i know a number close doesnt mean anything, but how should i msg/call a girl i just number closed on the street or a bar (having just short conversation)?

ive tried calling with me phone and say hey hows it going. so when are you free for a drink? same with texts

ive had some bad experience with being just ignored from texting, calls not picked up or just they gave me excuses. which is fine as i said i know that just because i got the number it doesnt they are interested in meeting me.

so what i am wondering is do i need to do some random chatting/texting before i ask for meetup? like textgame or what its called. so far ive just gone direct with "hey hows it going . when are u free for a drink?"

If you just got the number and haven't really gotten to know her. Chances are you'll get a flake.
So when you get the number.
Definitely try to get some conversations in. Make sure she remembers you and that you're familiar to her.

THEN go for the,"Hey would you like to go out some time ?".

That's how I'm going about it.

After number closing. You should still chat for at least couple more minutes. Unless is she or you have to really leave.

When she leaves, 10 minutes later, text her saying "Hey, nice to meet you" And she will reply back "you too" and just leave it at that.

Text her the next day. But do not text her to ask her out or to see what your up to. My goal when I am texting is self amusement. I usually text something random like "I would so beat you in monopoly." She replies and start having fun from here. There is really no lines from here, your gonna have to make stuff up. Key thing to keep in mind is have fun! Don't be needy.

What usually happens, maybe not the same day but couple times around is girls hint for me to ask them out. I usually ignore it the first time, but the 2nd time, I set something up.
