This is a major sticking point for me: I get a number / facebook after not yet reaching comfort, due to circumstance or time.
I hit them up via text or email, get them talking but I have trouble getting to the point where she cant wait to meet me.

Ok, so here's the latest...a girl I know from the the gym, I've spoke with her serveral times but havent really reached any lengthy or decent conversation yet. I got her Facebook details a few days ago.

She's responded quite quickly, you can see she's up for a joke, but you can see she's not that invested as she hasn't tried to continue the convo with a question.

If I knew her better, it would be a lot easier to continue this, but I feel stuck on how to move forward. I dont just want to come with some generic s**t.

You're being too negative about this. It doesn't matter if she replies with a question or not. Investment doesn't necessarily have to be her asking you stuff all the time. She gave you a slot open to continue the interaction and to continue the joke you were at.

Keep messing around with that joke for another text or two - and then try setting up a meetup. Maybe tell her you wanna see her in action at the tattoo store? Going there, watching her work (preferebly right when she's about to end) and then 'going into town together', 'taking a walk', 'getting something to eat' - whatever.

Also, the way I do it when I'm in set is to always timebridge before closing. It's just a personal preference of mine. Why would I need her number otherwise? I don't take numbers unless it's going somewhere.

I'll tell you a secret that's not widely put out there..

I have a friend that's extremely good with women. Well people in general. And I always wondered what he secret was. I went so far as to ask him what his secret was. And he just made fun of me lol..
