I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I just want more experienced singles' opinions. My next door neighbor is selling his house so today was an Open House event hosted by his realtor. Not that many home shoppers due to the current real estate market situation. However, what I'm trying to interpret is when I ran into her while doing some lawn work, why would she invite me to come on in if I want to have a look after my asking if it looks like the home will sell anytime soon? When I did go in, of course there wasn't anyone else, and we chatted, and she volunteered her business card. I mentioned that once my next door neighbor sells, maybe we can work together if I decide to put my home in the market which she didn't seem to mind, but then again why would she. It will be money for her. However, she did mention that she will keep in the loop, and will let me know how much the next door neighbor will sell for and took my email address which she didn't have to. How should I interpret the Realtor's invitation and overall situation when she clearly knew that I'm not a home shopper? Does this mean that I probably passed her initial screening? Could I get in touch with her for a game now that I have her contact info. What do you think?

Well considering that body language is 90% of communication, what do think she was telling you. I say that if your interested call her and just ask, hell what you got to loose. Besides having a realtor as a go-to it wouldnt be so bad, all those empty houses to see. Good luck...

Theres no real script. The only way to find out is to ask. By that I of course mean, next time you're doing something interesting let her know that she is welcome to come along.

If she says yes then shes ineterested in you.
If she says no then shes not.
If she has an excuse then keep in mind it could be valid. If shes interested she'll contact you in the future.

An exchange like that is short, simple and concise.

She probably wanted you to fulfill her fantasy of being rode hard and put away wet in some vacant house.
