A lot of guys on here use the 10 scale (hb8, hb9, hb10) to rate women. So what I want to know is how do you personally come up with a rating for a woman? Do you have a certain criteria (physically and/or otherwise) in order a woman to be considered a 8, 9 or 10?

Here's my 10, but only for the moment, I'm sure it'll change. The important thing is to go out and open the ones that YOU really fancy, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Also, a 10 looks-wise, may well be (very likely!) a 7 or 8 overall because her personality and other qualities are 5 or 6s. Again, it's your job to figure out those personality traits for yourself using qualification. This gets her to work for your interest, and it the highly attractive trait of someone who has high standards and doesn't just value women solely for their looks.

I couldn't agree more. I liked girls that may have been 6 or 7 by looks, but the personality bumped the rating all the way to a 9 and I really really fell for them. Everybody is different. I'm into big breast, so my idea of a 10 would be a relatively thin chick with great breast, while an 8 could have a couple of pounds extra and still be very attractive to me, while others may think she's chubby.

Also another important note to that: Don't let the opinions of your friends decide whether or not a girl is hot enough to go for.

I'm not saying you're doing it - but just by asking the question in this thread, it seems you're putting too much importance on the scale as if to wanting to go for 'a 10' according to a universal scale, instead of your own opinion.

Game only girls you find attractive. Not the ones society tells you.

I don't rate girls on a 10 scale, but I'd like to be rated on a looks scale for fun . I personally am into Asian women. I just say whether

1) I really like the girl
2) I kinda like the girl
3) I don't like the girl

2)Good
3)Boring

If a girl has good personality and is really good looking, I'm in.
If I kinda like the girl and she turns out to have amazing personality I'm in.(btw 3/4 girls I've had one-itis for were from this category)

@Little Panda...I have my own criteria that I judge women by...And I understand everybody is going to like something different. But, I know all of you have been in situations where a friend was telling you about a chick; always an HB9 for some reason.(perhaps he figured I wouldn't believe him if he said she was a 10 lol) And of course you meet her...and you just wonder to yourself, "How did he give a 9 to that thing?"

It's simple for me.

It all depends on the frequency of vibration in my schlong when I see her.

There are some girls, like Jessica Alba, that are literally almost a premature ejaculation from looking at them.

Those girls are few and far between. I maybe see a 10 a couple of times a year, and when I do, you know it, because it's like being in 9th grade again, trying to hide your boner from the hot teacher.

Beauty is subjective. The chick in Ryan's post would be a 7 in my book. I only use the 10 scale for looks since attraction for men is mostly based on appearance. I don't give them a higher number if they have personalities, although one could have a different scale for personality but then personality is much much more varied than appearance.

Personality is obviously a big thing for anyone when they try to get into LTR. Some would go for the HB9 who is a dumb bimbo, but others would go for HB6 with an exceptional personality. I'd personally get into an LTR with if the chick was at least a 7.

The whole concept of the HB scale is a bit useless anyway.
