So I was out friday night in a bar, for a friday it was quite quiet... HB8 barmaid seems overly friendly and because it's not that busy and we get chatting. I don't even try to game her at all as I figured she's a barmaid... she's paid to be friendly. So I move away, open a few sets with my wing. Usual stuff.

I was chatting to another friend close to the bar, she comes up to me and says "Last.fm! That's the site I was thinking of" continuing the conversation we were having at the bar. Best I can tell, she left the bar specifically to come over and talk to me for a couple of mins.. she even didn't take any glasses or anything back with her.

The bar is getting busy at this point so I cant really try to have a conversation with her at the bar again and my friend wants to change venue. No point even trying to game the now busy barmaid, would be too broken by her having to serve drinks. My wing wanted to leave, before I'd even looked around to say bye to the barmaid she came over again and said "Add me on facebook!" and gives me her name. She then helped me find her using my phone..

So I'm getting plenty of IOIs and fb closed her without even trying. Next morning I check out FB. She'd left a message on my wall saying something like "Sorry for messing up your drinks orders last night!" which she didn't really.

So it's all going well until I check out her page and she has a boyfriend of 3 years. On the plus side, he's not as good looking as me :p

I'm used to girls saying "I have a boyfriend" as a gentle letdown but how do I handle this girl who actually has a boyfriend? Clearly she's interested in me.

I sent her a message back on FB saying we'd be in next week and hoped she could get our drinks right. Hopefully she'll reply with a message that states whether or not she's working. If she's not I'll say "Perfect. Want to go out?" if she is I'll just go there with a false time constraint and ask her out sometime the next week.

A) Is my plan ok?

B) How do I handle the boyfriend thing? Just ignore it?

Besides when she posted on my wall, I noticed she'd removed the thing it would have put on her wall that said "Posted on ix.'s wall" hah. Hiding it from her BF I guess.

Lol nice! Maybe she's hunting for a one-night-stand. Think speed-stuff would probably work well
