Ok, so I love to dress nice, and so does my entourage. Sometimes when were out we may be perceived by some as overdressing or looking to sharp for the venue, or event. People at times (both men and women) will come up and make comments about our outfits. These comments can range from "Why are you guys dressed so nice?" to What the hell are you wearing ties and dress shirts for here?"

Basically I would like some tips on how we can DHV these types of situations as well as avoid getting AMOGGED??

Thanksssss

This is a line I created for such a good occasion.

"Well when I was young my father told me that if I wanted to be successful I would either have to dress very well, be incredibly good looking, or be extremely charming...I find it isn't really so hard to do all three."

You have to dress for the occasion. Think about who your "target audience" is, and plan accordingly. A lot of people think that dressing "nice" EVERYWHERE you go will make people think you're sophisticated or something.

I was at a college party recently, when these three older guys, probably in their late twenties, showed up, dressed to the nines. Everyone stopped what they were doing, and stared at them as they stood in the hallway, going off on some spiel about how they were alumni or something. Needless to say, everyone was creeped out, and the well-dressed trio went home empty-handed.

I was wearing a Hurley shirt with some jeans and a pair of Vans, and I did pretty good that night.

It's all about dressing comfortable...the key is not to have to worry about your looks because if you are self concious about it...your target will notice. I just envision myself as Brad Pitt and clear my head of self concious thoughts...if you think about one of your deficiencies....laugh about it in your head.
