Listening to RSD newbie podcast and Tyler was talking about people not giving a shit about what you wear and look like despite a lot of people thinking they do/spending a lot of time to dress and look good.

I think this is important, I'm alway aware of what other people may be thinking and getting paranoid despite the reality that 99% probably couldn't give a fuck.

It doesn't make any sense to care in the end does it?

Probably not. The only people I can see caring about your dress are the ones concerned with your well being. If my brother or a close friend of mine looked like a slob, I'll let him know. If I walk down the street and see a complete stranger look like he just stepped out of That 70s Show, I wouldn't give a sh*t.

However, if you are trying to make a good impression when you sit down for a job interview, or attract a woman, that's a whole different story.

Yeah you shouldn't care about how you look that much.
Your body language is much more important then clothing or style.

But..... don't got like some poor beggar and open a girl, u will fail.
Simply said, just be clean. put on normal clothes and ur are totally fine.

It does matter...Even with girls...there are certain styles that girls wear that don't make them look like slobs, but definitely turn me off. There are things that girls wear that turn me on as well. I do think guys have a little less diversity in fashion, but it does matter. I wear a beanie many nights out and I notice a significant difference of attention I get when wearing it because it stands out and presents a certain image and characteristics to me. Tattoos, etc....they all make a difference, on the subconscious level AND conscious level....as does smell....

Now, it is correct that this is not the end of it all and is not a huge part of the pie. Like having a nice car or money doesn't make you get the girl, but it does help.....you cannot disconnect all the pieces, they all melt together...

I literally can remember thinking this girl was attractive and having a good conversation and then got a smell of the perfume and it almost gagged me...lol

Captain brought up a good point....smell. I have a stock pile of cologne and body sprays. I always receive complements from women on how I smell. I highly recommend you keep an assortment of 'smell goods' in your bathroom.
