Recently i was at a bar with low music and a great number of HB (lovely bar in my opinion) and this group of 3 guys and 1 girls talks to me and my buddies. After a bit of talking eventually its just me and this girl. About a HB 9, as in this was in cali and even there in LA i only saw a few girls that looked this good after intensely exploring the city. As i was talking to her i mentioned her hat and moved it a bit, then she starts ranting about not moving a person's hat and if your on a date and your date has a hat dont move it etc etc. The environment wasnt very loud but everytime she talked she talked right in my ear, not the turn your head and listen whisper but we were inches from cheek to cheek. It was st pattys and i was drinking and after talking to her for a little while i got rather annoyed at this rant so i just walked away, after fuming for a bit i realized this probably was a huge miss for me in terms of IoI's an such lol. anyway thats the situation for analytical use, i was wondering if anyone could help me determine how to deal with this type of conversation (of any topic). and what i couldve done in this specific conversation because the suspense of not knowing is gnawing at me. appreciate any help

sounded like she was interested in you and her 'complaining' about your moving her hat was a shit test.

maybe you could have negged her back and said "if you didn't wear that hat so dorky, i wouldn't keep adjusting it for you!"
