So, I have hung out with this guy like 3 times...nice guy and I think he is really cool, but by no means my "friend." He just broke up with his two-year girlfriend a couple months ago and asked me to talk with her cause she is planning on moving over seas, which I am as well in four months. We met, she is cool, we click, she is interested, I am interested...I am mutual acquaintances with another guy in the group that I am sure would not be happy with me getting this guys (his friend) ex. So, to me, I feel like it SHOULDN'T be a big deal and if I were in his position I wouldn't care, but I am sure he would have a problem with it. Do you think I should skip it? She is cool and we have hung out a couple times and it is definitely on, but we both discussed how it would affect him, so we haven't done anything yet....

I have a personal philosophy that seems to be different than most about all these BS expectations about whose whose and what should and shouldn't happen in these "friend/acquaintance" situations...love to hear your responses...
