I have been deemed a 9/10 by female peers. By no means do I act like it though, or embrace it, or to some point believe it. I have my own insecurities.

Girls will sometimes be extremely rude to me. Especially in the bar and club seen. At least once a night a girl will be snappy or rude(I am not practicing pick up at the moment btw. this is just with simple interactions, they sometimes go out of the way to be rude)

example: End of the night, i am sober DD and my friends are taking shots with two of the bartenders both HB9. They just sold them a $325 bottle and were finishing the shots. they had dranken WAY too much.

HB9: goes to give the last shot to my friend

Me: "oh no no, dont give him any more hide that one from him"

HB9: "DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO"

Hmm, never really noticed this, some girls can just be bitches, plain and simple. For all you know, she could have had an off night, troubles outside of work. Lots of variables.

Good on you for looking out for a friend though.

Seems strange, who knows.. perhaps you remind her of someone who she doesn't like? I mean unless this is happening regularly.. i'd just wipe it off as a random event..

I'd adopt the mentality that she is simply "intimidated" by you..

to me, it sounds like you are encountering girls with inner game problems or you need to adjust your tone as you may indeed be coming across as an asshole. the fact that you are "joking" or "negging" may be getting completely lost in translation. if your poker face is too good, you will come across as genuinely bullying someone. i think the point of a "joke" or "neg" is for it to be known, subtly, that this is indeed what you are doing. but if this is happening in one particular place, there may be a strong set of girls with inner game problems there (example: angry ex-wives or militant lesbians friday night counseling session). lmao.

Mack, he wasn't negging or joking with her...he was watching out for his friend...but agreed, if he was gaming her.

This girl was just wanting to give it to your friend and didn't give a shit about him and you stood in the way, she didn't like it. If she is a bar tender and in fact an HB9, then she is used to getting her way and guys NOT telling her what to do...you weren't gaming her....she was just being a bitch...no excuses for her. If you really thought your friend should not have it, I would have let her give it to him and and then took it or better yet, interacted with YOUR friend....I ain't driving no puking douche home..lol

hey captain, you make a good point. i reread his post and i agree with you. it does just sound like she was being a bitch.

i was just thinking when he said "girls will sometimes be rude to me, especially in the bar/club scene" that means that it is happening regularly or semi-regularly with him, enough to where it is concerning him. in my experience, the reason women will regularly be bitches to men is if they think you are an asshole. one of the leading reasons they think we are assholes is if we are not coming across as we intend to. so, although i totally agree with your point that he wasn't trying to game this girl, i was speaking to his larger point (beyond this one example) that he keeps having this problem with women.

any time a guy says women are often a bitch to me, my thought is it's time for the guy to look at his behavior and see what is being 'interpreted' as asshole'ish.
