Posts: 28 | | How much expierience once you really start getting into PU do you start to lose your need for one-itis. It seems like every new member's (including myself) first post is about how to hook up with their one-itis. Reading all of these stories of new guys and one-itis does seem to help I have kind of lost mine due to the fact that it no longer seems to be special since everyone feels the same way while starting.
but basically do the more expierienced guys on here still get one-itis?

Posts: 115 | | I think the more experienced guys are more immuned to oneitis. But if he runs into a girl that has such a personality where he can completely get along with, and she's beautiful, then the chances of him getting oneitis are higher. I had oneitis for a chick, dating a hotter chick and didn't really think much of my oneitis... but then that new chick gave me oneitis... We broke up. I just saw my old oneitis and I feel it may be creeping along again lol.
Leave me alone oneitis!

Posts: 19 | | A big step people can take is to consciously recognize when they have oneitis. This allows you to clearly realize when it is happening and remind yourself ironically the best way to get that "one girl," is to successful pursue many other ones.
Oneitis is something that tends to be with most everyone. A lot of people eventually want to get married to that "one." The problem is oneitis brings out AFC tendancies in people who don't realize it.
