It's Friday night. Got no friends to go out with. The only option is to go out alone. I was just curious if any of you guys have a problem with going out alone. It's not hard to do, but once you get into the bar, you feel awkward because you are alone, and then getting social is hard to do. I guess the fear of rejection is one of the single most problems that we men have.

Part of me wants to go out, by aside from the whole rejection thing, I honestly don't have a clue as to what I would talk about.

Any of you guys in the same boat?

i do it all the time, feels great when you can go out alone and have a good time, i used to use my friends as a crutch for going out,

Make friends with the bartenders, and the regular peeps inside the joint, at 1st just introduce yourself casually, and make some small talk, then leave. every night when you come back to the place, say hi to the people you met the last time you came in, make some more small talk, and don't give yourself away as some lonely person trying to make friends, this scares people away, act like your happy and dont NEED anybody else to make you HAPPY. pretty soon theyll think of you as a cool dood.

these kinds of things are important before hand trying to pick up women, gives you some social value when you walk into a joint and have people greeting you. you know?

It is difficult, I have created two threads relating to going out alone. You need extra skills to have any chance of even getting a phone number.

The big problem is people scope out who is alone very quickly and that makes you like the geeky kid in school nobody would talk to.

It can be very shitty. On the other hand it is possible to have a good time and if it isn't a total disaster you feel better than sitting at home like a vegetable.

I honestly prefer to go out alone, then I'm truly free and can focus on picking up girls.

I honestly had a problem with going out alone too a few years ago, but somehow it's really no big thing for me anymore, I guess that's just a matter of practice...

Positive Social Momentum.

As soon as you get there, open someone. Man, woman, bouncer, tranny...doesn't matter. Open them in the line, open the bouncer. The goal here is just to get in a social mood.

Never be 30 seconds or longer without talking to someone until you finally reach what some people call the "Social God Point" which is when your no longer worried about being in place alone.

Often time you will reach that point after like an hour or two if you follow the advice outlined above.

After a few times of going alone and accomplishing this, you will be in "Social God Mode" from the moment you step into the door.
