basically I just initiated proper conversation with this girl im interested in.
After talking about random stuff we move onto relationships, she did something flirty and was like "Your girlfriend wouldnt like that"
I said "ive broken up with her so its alright"

Then she started talking about how her love life sucks and that theres a recurring "problem" that she faces every time she likes a guy. I think she wanted me to ask her about what the "problem" was in a way.

Would having a conversation about why her love life sucks put me in the friend zone?
Is it one of those sort of conversations? Where she complains to me and im meant to reassure her, and then I get sucked into this cycle of her talking to me when she needs moral support?

Well, is you think about it, any topic can be a friend zoning topic. What keeps you out of the friend zone is how you react in the conversation.

3 things to remember:
1) Tease. DO NOT throw any negs or anything. Just playfully tease her love life. Make sure you're specific too. It'll tell her that you're actually listening.
2) Touch. Y'know, touch her (Kino or whatever the fuck it's called). It'll build sexual tension.
3) Have fun. Unless the situation calls for it, don't be serious. Make jokes and laugh. A lot of guys forget that this pick up stuff is supposed to be fun.

Seriously, if you have these three things down, then you can talk about whatever and stay out of the friend zone.

Now I'm not the type of guy to give blind advice. I'm the type of guy that talks about anything he feels like talking about with girls whether it be taboo or whatever. I get a bunch of kisses (saving my first lay for someone special). I've talked about things from love life to cold pizza to supporting a girl. Most of them had good results.
