reactivity/indifference question.

I've noticed charismatic people seem to have a higher threshold for reactivity and tolerance for social tension. (people taking pictures, talking about sexual things infront of strangers, asking embarrassing questions etc.)

is there anyway to internalize this? I have the habit of laughing in social tension and reacting to every little thing.. not peoples actions, just situations.
