So I saw a link on youtube that linked to a PUA Hate site saying it was all a scam and stuff - wtf?? Can anyone shed any light on why people would think that?

People get pissed off because no matter how flawless a method is, you still have to have what it takes to actually do it all correctly.

Some guys think there's some magic pickup line they can say and women will instantly drag them to the nearest washroom to fulfill all their wildest fantasies.

This is not how it works. You have to do everything right, open, escalate, build comfort, the list goes on. If you don't do this stuff right your not going to be 100% successful.

I think a lot of guys get hung up with one-itis too. They find a girl, build her up in their mind to be greater than she could ever possibly be, and then borderline stalk her. When they get shot down (because she likely noticed his stalker-like ways) they blame PUA stuff for not leading them to success. This was not a PUA method failing, it was them creating an impossible to win situation.

Oh, and a final reason, bitchy women who got moves thrown on them then ditched. Don't do this guys, getting picked up by PUA should be an amazing experience, not comparable to blowing your nose and throwing away the tissue.

I agree with jimmy. Some guys just don't have the huevos to do what's needed, and we do; they blame us for what's wrong with the dating scene.

Also, PUAs ave always been associated with negativity.
"Oh look. That guy's a PUA. We need to stay away from him. He must be a jerk."

Then there's the pride. I think that society believes that a man should learn how to do what we do by themselves yet society offers little to no assistance on instruction.

yea... that seems to be about right...

i remember bak in the day when i first heard about this "pua stuff" i was thinking to myself.

"oh fuk!!... now everyone is going to be pickn up and its gonna be harder for ME now"

i was always decently successful before this stuff.


then two years went by and its in the media and its everywhere.. and NOW its even more in your face on tv and shit and in news broadcasts.... and you know what.. nothings changes.....chodes are still chodes, jerks are still jerks, idiots with nice cars still get laid but only once cuz they still suck at it....

unless you have the right stuff internally to use any of this shit.. its like being outta shape and talentless and reading a book about "how to play hockey" or "how to sing"

Yup, makes sense to me - since I started learning this PUA stuff I'm much better at approaching, much more alpha body language, got more confidence because I've got canned material to go to if I get stuck mid game and even managed to #close a HB8 (which I've never had the guts to do before). I've got a long way to go though - I feel like I've just passed my first belt in PUA!

Agree with all you guys.......but unfortunately there is an element within the community that do what it takes to profit as much as possible from pick up. They charge huge amounts and falsely advertise what they do, when in fact have little to back up their claims of how they are some top pua.

Having said that, pick up is awesome and has massively improved my life and continues to do so. Most guys just don't get it or are too scared to commit to it.

Those pua hate guys are the most angry, repressed and frustrated individuals who have obviously focused on the mercenary types within the community and blamed them for the fact that they never get laid despite handing over a bunch of cash.

On that site i have found overt and extreme antisemitism which pretty much sums up the type of low-lives who regularly visit that site.
