Now I don't want to sound like a self-inflated deuce bag and no, I don't consider myself a good looking guy just because my mother says so- I consistently get girls telling me that I look like that jacob guy off twilight that all the girls swoon over so I figure I must be pretty attractive looking to pull that off. Trouble is I have the look but my game is pretty shithouse which is why I've come here to my shit sorted. I've been field testing routines here and there for the past two weeks now and one thing that I constantly notice that turns the conversation sour is when I neg a target soon after I have just opened conversation.

Now they ain't massive negs like "ew your breath stinks" for example last night I saw a girl wearing a beat up sailors hat outside the club. While she was talking to some girl friends I was with I go "nice hat" and shes like "thanks, stole it " "really? it does kind of look like its been stolen (cheeky grin)" As expected, she took that pretty hard and I could tell by her body language (looks at ground sadly, folds arms, looks away) that she was no longer interested in talking.

So yeah I heard negging works great with lesser attractive guys going for hotter girls but should an attractive guy even bother to neg cause it seems like every time I do the girls read me as some arrogant asshole. What do you guys think?

If you already have attraction then you don't really need to neg. Just ignore the one you want and then giggle (in your head) when she starts trying to get your attention.

I found ignoring and just not paying attention works great in multi sets so that's something I'm going to keep up but negging off the bat just seems to blow up in my face. I found if I establish a connection first then drop the occasional neg I get great results but negging without saying much before hand usually gets taken the wrong way. I'll have to test this out some more, I'll let you guys know how I go.

i just think u need to work on your negs...they have to be witty and funny..u basically said "you do look like a thief"....u could practise with your guy friends by making fun of each like guys do it will help u get quicker on your feet......nd when u ignore a girl it is still a neg just none verbal
