What are some good openers and routines for the workplace? Context, very large open plan office, beautiful women but not in your team or area so little to no reason you would natually end up talking to them through your professional capacity. High alpha male to female ratio due to being a high-end environment so need value demonstration and differentiation straight away. Can't be too direct as it is a professional environment at the end of the day.

"Yeah, what about that new toner huh, messes up my copying something awful!"

Okay okay, just kidding. (Though if she's one of those chicks that gets off on irony and complaining..)
How about you go in just being friendly? You get bored at work occasionally right? So does she. Chitchat away, subtly implement DHV stories and negs, etc. It's pretty straightforward you know. Maybe if she enjoys talking to you eat lunch together.

not sure what you mean by 'hig end environment' but... work late! not only will you impress the boss / do more stuff, but it's the perfect time to just 'start chatting'.

also people often have sweets etc in an open workspace right. for birthdays/events or whatever. thats where the "aw really, you shouldn't have... my birthday's not til October.." type opener comes in.

Since its harder to be sexual etc, you have to be very indirect at first. takeaway more regularly. its not like you'll never see her again, so talk for a short period and leave just as you make her / her group laugh.. i always walk past people and crack a joke or make a cheeky comment so that they are laughing as i walk away..

for openers id just go with indirect ones, in a work environment using a direct one could screw things up in my opnion. I normally use "hey I got a quick question, do you know where the a starbucks is around here?"
her:yeah its over by xxx
you: thanks! high five, meeting a friend there in a few.
her: (high fives you, theres some kino)
you: whats your name by the way?
her: xx
you: that my cats name!
her: haha really?

then just break off into a dhv story about how you rescued your cat (that you dont have lol) from an animal shelter. or just say "my names xx. thanks again for helpin me, see ya around!" it will help build social proof, the more girls you open to, then you should have more approaching you due to your social proof!
