girlfriend doesnt initiate contact. Bad reaction?

My reaction to her not calling me first is:
To nto call her either.

This results in us both being stubborn, and we dont talk for 2-3 days or so until she eventually gives in.
but, this isnt healthy for a relationship obviously.
My problem is that im obsessed with being the prize/challenging. I think she has the same mentality. If BOTH sides of the relationship are trying that, you end up with this paradoxical problem.

My question is: How SHOULD i respond to her game of not calling me?
How can I be a challenge while still being able to talk to her every day?

Hmmm this is an interesting post.

I would call and arrange to hang out so that you two can get more familiar with each.
