So I was hanging out with this girl from my acting class. We originally where going to go see a movie in the theatre but we opted for a movie at my house instead. We drank a bit(we didnt get drunk) and we where watching a movie. I negged her a bit, got her to put her arm around me first, and put my arm around her, she didnt seem uncomfortable. A few times where my face ended up near hers and she didnt really pull away. Towards the end she seemed to get annoyed because she needed to get home, and I told her I wanted to be sure I was fully sober.

When I ended driving back home we talked about relationships kissing etc. When she left the car I kissed her for a bit. She asked if I was good. I told her something along the lines that she really tries to go for it or something like that. Anyways out of habit from the last girl I saw, I went in again(I know a mistake). She pushed me away, said to just be friend, to which I laughed and said "whatever".


So did I get truly friend zoned? I've had something like this happen before where the girl did something much the same way, but I still ended up f-closing a few dates afterwards. I just get this vibe like she was somewhat interested but didnt really feel it.

Also, is there anyway to recover well from this? Or is it basically over once most girls say that?

If you're put in the friend zone, the best thing really is to talk to other girls; the reason is two fold. One, it will soon take your mind off the other girl and improve your game. Two, even if you still want to get with this girl, her seeing you with other girls can flip a switch in her head - no longer are you the guy lusting after her and getting nothing else, you're the guy other girls want to be with and the 'friend' usually gets jealous by this.
