Weird to keep a field report journal?

You know some people keep bibles or something in their back pocket.
I keep a field report journal in my back pocket, and after every approach, I write in it. Is this weird?

Nope.

If you do that than if you have a bad approch, you can write it down and go through what you did that made it bad and make it better.
