Just be nice as hell but indifferent and when she starts showing you attention (which she will, and probably in a negative way like insulting you) you can just respond with "I appreciate the attention but I am a little busy at the moment."

The other day I didn't do this because I was grumpy and generally off game.
I got goaded into a confrontation with an ex that escalated to the point that I pressed into her worst insecurities. She slunk off and apparently had a very self hate filled night. Meanwhile, my bad mood got worse and I was too disgusted with myself to pay attention to having a good time. This is pretty much the worst thing I could have done.

This is how it went

She waved at me when i was talking with a dude. I waved back but without a smile.

I danced in her neighbourhood, i met all the people there (kind of alpha), saying all girls and guys hello. She was just standing there with some (girl)friends of her. I looked one time, she was watching how i was greeting a girl. Thats the only time i looked. I just danced with my back turned to her with some friends, guys and girls.

1hr later i turned my back to get a drink, she was left home already.
