Okay I'm 37 years and I wear two hearing aids. I've worn these since the age of 4 years. Without the hearing aids, I would be lost.

I can listen and talk like any normal person would. My speech is perfect. I can lip-read and sometime paraphrase to convey my understanding. I never learnt sign language and I don't need to. Educated to Master level and I am in a good, well paid secure job in the technology sector.

When I game or talk to girls, I can see their eyes constantly twitch to the side of my head like they have never spoken to someone wearing hearing aids. I am convinced that hearing girls are very wary about dating deaf guys. Perhaps they are reminded of their grandparents where they have to repeat or shout. Possibly, they seek out potential partners having good genes. Girls are influence by their friends and family.

I am a very confidence person, even when I get knock backs. I have read 'The Game', and follow this PUA forum. Nothing tells me how to overcome my sticky point which is my hearing disability.

Any advice, suggestion or tips will be very much appreciated. Cheers....

If you are really confident about it rock it!! Have fun when you see their eyes wander... I would personally call them out on it. Stop what you're saying or interupt her with a fun comment to make it not a big deal.
"You know what the best part about these are (point) its really easy to tune out boring people." yeah its rough, but with some fine tuning you could make it work.

I was also thinking it would be funny if you have her say something while the hearing aid is out. Tell her you wont hear it so it can be anything... Read her lips and then respond to what she says.

Whatever you do just get the point accross that its not a big deal to you so they shouldnt worry about it either.
