Getting back into the game and I need a bit of advice? AA?

So, I've been outta the game for a few months because I've been really lazy lately. Anyways, I have a problem with AA. I mean, I can talk to a HB8-10 walking on the street no problem. It's just escalating is the problem. Like, the AA comes in ONLY when I think about doing some flirting or something. If I don't flirt, I don't have AA. I need some advice on how to get rid of this problem.
