Fledgling PUA here. Hope this is the proper forum for this.

Take this scenario: She's safely an HB8 at the very least, and she involves herself in activities that show off her looks a lot, and subsequently garner her quite a heavy amount of attention. And miraculously, she doesn't let it get to her head. So you'd think she's got some pretty good self-confidence. But no, she says she's shy when it comes to the ways of love, which make her awkward and stuff. So this is an interesting case to say the least: Beautiful girl knows she is beautiful and is constantly told she's beautiful, but somehow remains a shy wallflower deep down.

She's from out of town, but will be visiting a... let's call it "special interest event" in my area for a weekend. (No, furries aren't involved... I hope.) An event that I will happen to attend, as well. How would one game her and, if not get a SNL, f-close with her by the end of the event?

Obviously, the typical gaming routine will not work on her. I've been coming up with hypothetical scenarios that take PUA principles and adapt them to a situation like this. I know that at an event like the aforementioned has plenty of bounce potential (which likely leads to "time distortion" AFAIK). There will be dance parties, so there's strong potential for accelerated kino escalation. And of course, we share many of the same interests - otherwise, why would we go to the same event? Besides, I'm fairly confident that I can DHV with her, seeing as said event will probably be attended by legions of AFCs.

So... thoughts? Assessment for success? General opinions on the "short but intense romantic affair" approach? (If you want me to be more specific, I could send you a PM. I'm just a bit concerned about both of our privacies, is all.)

Also, I'd at least like some advice on damage control. I've done too many pickup attempts that have gone out of hand, but I still have no clue how to turn a bad situation around, let alone prevent one from happening. I'd like to avoid coming on too strong and creeping girls out, for one.
