A lot of girls are single on V-Day, so it is a very sad day for them. Feb. 14th is the big Valentine's Day with flowers, candy, cards, expensive "romantic" dinners, etc... Many girls miss out on this. I remember one girl told me her boyfriend dumped her ON Valentine's Day! February 15th is what we PUAs call "rebound day". This is a day where we get a chance to pick up the pieces of girls' broken hearts and make things right again where other (AFC) guys failed on V-Day.
Another note, David Deangelo recommends that you send your mom some flowers on Valentine's Day even if you have or don't have a girlfriend. Why? Because she is your mom. She put up with you for years and birthed you into this world. I see nothing wrong with getting her some flowers you can afford. This is to show your love and get some brownie points for your mom. She can put in a good word for you with the girls you bring around her too (when that ever happens).
I also think that getting a small gift for some girls on your wish list is ok, but DO NOT spend an extraordinary amount of money on any "Oneitis" girls. It's best to not get a gift for her if you plan on spending half your month's paycheck on her. You're not going to marry this girl right off the bat. We sell $1 boxes of delicious Elmer's chocolate at Walmart and inexpensive flowers. Once again... you DO NOT have to spend a huge amount of money on any particular girl.
