So since the beginning of man, women have always been the one to choose their mate. Could someone please tell me why? If guys are the ones having to spend all their money and having to entertain a girl, why are we always at the mercy of them? You would think that it would be the other way around and guys would get to choose.

hmm I don't think them choosing puts us at their mercy. Letting them choose means letting them come to you and not chasing them. Just make yourself the obvious choice by getting really good at pickup. Imagine a lion sitting back all chill and the lioness' all trying to get some lion dick. The lioness chooses which lion she is going to associate with based on an number of things. Does this put the lion at her mercy? No, it puts him at the mercy of superior lions.

i dont think that men really are at the mercy of women. like you said since the beginning of man we have been chasing women, but at the same time there's always been an abundance of women in comparison to men.

it only makes sense that men would be the ones to "search" and thereby find the woman with the most desirable traits. of course in modern terms the woman role is to either accept or wait for a more attractive offer, it's more the man's choice than it ever is the womans.

This is wrong, part of being a pua is making the girl fall for you, so for you to be in control.
if you think you are always at mercy of a girl, then you're thinking fundamentally wrong; you are the prize a girl wants, a lot of techniques are based on this (push pull, freezing, etc).
a relationship is a balance of a guy and a girl being attracted to each other, its not the girl being attracted to a guy and the guy working his ass off to entertain her, its a guy giving him what she wants, and the girl giving him what he wants SHARING.

Feminism must have done really amazing work in the past few decades for you to believe this. Historically, I can't think of any bigger pile of malarkey than "women got to choose." Ever heard of an arranged marriage? Ever heard of wars, rape, and pillage? Ever heard of chastity belts, or honor killings? Ever heard of the historical double standard whereby women were supposed to be virgins at marriage, but men were supposed to have sexual experience? Anyways Charles Darwin wrote on the implications of sexual selection if you want to go deep into the biology of it.

This was exactly the point I was making. When I am in the room I don't mind her choosing because the choice is clear.

I think its the guys job, as was said, to make the offer (do the approach and meet the girl), but after that, at least in my game, once comfort is built I usually make her come to me or just take her. Women love being told what to do in my experience.
