What do you do when a girl mistakes you for someone else that she really doesn't like?

Last night I went out with my girls and they had this other girlfriend come in from out of town. She was a total bitch to me from the gate so I finally just asked one of the girls "why is your friend being such a bitch to me? Is she always so shitty?". She said "No, she is always really nice I'll ask her in the bathroom".

Anyway it turn out she thought I was this guy who was telling a bunch of racist jokes the last time she was in town. Once we got it figured out she kind of laughed about it, but I could tell it was an up hill battle anyway.

Any of you guys ever have a similar situation or have an explanation for that fish headery?
