I usually don't do pick-ups in working/studying environments, but I couldn't help noticing that cute girl in my extremely boring class. Any tips? The only thing that comes to my mind is just to sit next to her next time, enroll in casual convo, tell about something fun that's gonna happen soon, and get her number.

Any other ideas?comments?

Went to class- was all sleepy and tired and hungry,- not in PU mood at all. Sat down on my place and decided to get some sleep. And here came another HB and sat near me.

Frist chit-chat for a bit, at first seemed a bit interested, then not really, I tried some staff to get logistics for the number but nothing worked, so I just went "wake me up when the next question comes up"

And closed my eyes, here I thought that even if I didn't get any common ground for the next meeting we are in the same class for god's sake. So I told her we should study together, she gave her number, I texted her later

"What's my name?"
Her"It starts with R but idk how to spell it I forgot lol(yeah my name isn't an easy one)
I'm planning to text her in a few hours something like
"Bad memory...minus one point:) It is (my name)

Any better ideas?

I would neg her a little more than that. Try something like, "Looks like I might need a new study partner, can't even remember a name." "How am I supposed to study with someone who can't remember my name...?" Call her out on the fact that she got your number for the purpose of studying and she cant remember something from how ever long ago it was.
