A girl is clearly giving you IOI's and then you go into number close and it goes like this.

You: So, can I get your number?
Her: Sorry I don't give my number out to strangers.

Now keep in mind she's interested, but playing a little hard to get. What should be a good response to this statement?

I personally don't ask "Can I?". I just say something like, we should go hang out sometime, here write down your number" and give her my phone. Works 95% of the time. Especially in a day game(since that's the only type of game I practice)

Well I was asking this because I saw it on an episode of Keys to the Vip. She eventually gave the guy her number, but he basically begged for it. He didn't go about it the right way. His response to the statement was "I'm not a stranger, trust me.", which seems kinda weak to me.

I just wanted to know how you guys respond, because I want to know how to respond if this happens to me.

- You don't ask a girl her number, you TELL her to give you
"Shoot me your number" and hand her your phone >>>> "can I have your number"

- You DON'T give the girl your number FIRST ---> you're giving her the power to arrange stuffs and whether to call you or not.

- DON'T beg for number either, just say something like "You're interesting, i'd like to continue this some other time" etc, let her take the hint, if she's an airhead, you can then give her another chance by saying "Put your number in here"

As for a reply for that one, dont say anything, make eye contact and make her feel the pressure of saying no.
If she still doesn't change her mind, simply smile and say "Oh that's cool, it was nice talking to you" then walk away. The one at lost is her, because she's letting you slip away by trying to bullshitting you with her "hard to get" attitude. And you show her that you wont put up with this shit, you will WALK away if she doesn't behave.
If she was indeed interested, she will not let you go. If she doesn't, just move on, she's a timewaster.

PS: Make no mistake. This is NOT a playing hard to get thing, it's a SHIT TEST . She wants to see if you're an AFC.

P.S. getting number is easy. Getting a SOLID number takes a bit practice. You need some complience to turn a number into a solid number. By solid I mean she does answer your calls and/or texts instead of flaking the next day. You can basically get a number in under a minute. But she most likely won't answer your text/call. If you actually spend 10-15 minutes building attraction and comfort (without getting too sexual)-you will get the number. P.S. if you showed from the beginning that you are alpha, she might not shittest you at all. If she does-just keep your frame.
