Have a date set with a girl next week, meanwhile she texts me every single day. She had other plans tonight already set with someone, don't know why she bothered going I'm getting texts from her every minute. I often cut off the convos after a short time, it's not like we even talk about anything particularly interesting.

I'd look a bit suspicious if I cut her off immediately (or just didn't reply) every single time she texted me, so how do I handle this? It's a bit annoying for her to start these conversations and then say nothing.

Any advice??

Even if you're not that interested in this girl you probably should keep her around.

Next time you are gaming another hb, use these texts as a dhv. Say something like:

"Wow, this girl is so annoying, she texts me all day. She is so obsessed. I just hate it when girls get all clingy have to be talking with me all the time. You know what I mean right? "

This says that you are preselected, and have many options. Basically a huge DHV spike.

This is a perfect example of what women go through when guys get clingy. Remember this situation the next time you feel the urge to text a girl 'just to say high'.

If her text messages have no substance or do not interest you, ignore them all together or cut off the exchange. Limit your messages to 1 or 2 words and do not respond right away. She will get the hint. If she doesn't get the hint, and your IL plummets to zero, cut her off.

Do not worry about hurting her feelings, or making her feel bad. If you were acting clingy, texting her every minute and killing the attraction, she would have NO PROBLEM ignoring your text messages.
